Welcome to Medical Radiography:

Hello and welcome to Baptist College of Health Sciences' website for Medical Radiography. If you have ever had an x-ray, you have most likely met a Medical Radiographer, also known as a Radiologic Technologist. Radiologic Technologists are trained to be sensitive to patient's physical and psychological needs. They must pay attention to detail, follow instructions, and work as part of a team. Also, Radiologic Technologists operate highly specialized, technically advanced imaging equipment that requires mechanical ability and manual dexterity.

Health Care Management Degree for Working Adults

The Pinnacle Program at Baptist College of Health Sciences is an accelerated bachelor's degree program in Health Care Management. Health care managers plan, direct, coordinate, and control the delivery of health care services—covering budgets, personnel, and equipment. Designed to meet the needs of adult students, the Pinnacle Program continues the tradition of quality nursing and health care education that has been the hallmark of Baptist College since its inception.

The Division of Allied Health is constantly striving to meet the health care workforce needs of the community and region. We currently offer a Bachelor of Health Science in six different areas of study. Diagnostic Medical Sonography (Ultrasound), Medical Radiography, Nuclear Medicine Technology, Radiation Therapy, and Respiratory Care are traditional degree programs, with courses offered during the day.

Division of Allied Health at BCHS

Through our Division of Allied Health we offer Bachelor of Health Science degrees (BHS) with majors in diagnostic medical sonography (ultrasound), health care management, medical radiography, nuclear medicine technology, radiation therapy, and respiratory care.
